We had the exciting opportunity to capture the memories of the BOA Honor Band in the 2013 Tournament of Roses Parade in Los Angeles California.  This project was fun to produce and welcome challenge.  We produced 27 videos for online viewing on Youtube over the course of 4 Days onsite in Los Angeles.  This project certainly tested the limits of our quick turn video production techniques. We captured B-Roll and interviews using a variety of techniques, including time lapse and point of view.

Increased Youtube Traffic

The result was well received by the community of family and supporters that were back home and could not join their students to share in the experience for the Tournament of Roses Parade. During the and just following the event, the Music for All Youtube Page garnered over 40,000 views of the videos.

A once in a lifetime experience

For the students who marched in the band it was certainly a once in a lifetime experience to march down the historic parade route in Pasadena, CA.  Shooting the video for this was also amazing experience or me as well.  Being on the press stand for the Tournament of Roses is a memory that I will cherish for many years to come.  The sights, smells, and sounds of the parade are something to behold. I highly recommend adding it to the bucket list to make the trip to Pasadena to see the Tournament of Roses in person.
