At Hansen Multimedia, we are privileged to count among our clients several very worthy non-profit organizations. One of our favorites is IndyHumane. In the process of producing a video for their “Faces of Love” campaign in 2012, we were moved and inspired by the vision of the organization: that all Central Indiana animals are treated with dignity and respect and live free from cruelty, harm and neglect.
To move toward that vision, IndyHumane intends to purchase a late-model, used, type-A school bus and convert it to be part staff transport; part storage; part mobile care unit capable of taking our medical team off-site and bringing much-needed, low-cost care to all reaches of Indianapolis and Central Indiana
Indy Humane Events and Outreach Manager Jeremy VanAndel says the mobile clinic is needed to supplement their current outreach in underserved communities, as well as serve as a marketing vehicle for the society. The mobile clinic would offer vaccinations, microchipping, flea and tick preventative care, and education and resources.
To accomplish this worthy goal, IndyHumane has launched a campaign to raise the $27,000 needed to fund the project. We are proud to spread the word of how you can help combat the pet overpopulation and a lack of available resources that leads to thousands of otherwise happy, healthy, wonderful companion pets surrendered to Indianapolis Animal Care & Control or to IndyHumane.
